Diesel Technician

Position Summary:

In this role, you will perform both minor and major component repairs and handle all aspects of preventative maintenance on the latest brand of equipment, power units, and refrigerated trucks in the industry. We provide industry-leading vehicle maintenance and repair technology, tools, and experts in the maintenance field. Each year, you will receive state-of-the-art training on the latest brands of equipment to enhance your skills.

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the longevity of our vehicles.
• Conduct electrical, electronic, diagnostic, and system repairs.
• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and repairs to maintain optimal performance.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of diesel engine experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or Technical certification preferred.
• Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to grow in the position required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The physical and mental demands of this job include verbal communication, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role requires frequent movement, including standing, walking, and sitting. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs/45 kg are necessary.
